50 years ago Mick Rock (RIP) took several images at London gigs that ended up cover shots of two classic albums. On July 14 Mick photographed Lou Reed’s gig at the King’s Cross Cinema. One of Mick’s shots was chosen by Lou for the cover of Transformer. The following night Mick was at Iggy Pop’s gig at the same venue and took the photo that became the cover for Raw Power.
